Iranian protesters are using many different Web 2.0 technologies to inform the rest of the world apprised of what's happening in Iran, as well as communicating with each other. However, Twitter seems to have grabbed the lion's share of press attention. Let's not forget what Facebook, YouTube, blogging sites, and other services are doing to keep the channels of communication open.
By the way, in one company where I worked recently, Iranian opposition groups used our service to organize and communicate. Their use of Web 2.0 technology goes back years.
